Construction
Desk
Built with the knowledge that it would need to support up to two actors at a time, and would also be where Eva is laid out in state and she would be carried off stage on the desk.
Structure built out of 1" steel tube by scenic. All lumber was a combination of 1/2" ply on front and back, luan on ends, and a 3/4" lid attached with the intention it would be lifted along the long edges.
Legs were built up using Great Stuff and Bondo, then carved and sanded for a taper. A vinyl top and trim was added to match the original desk of Juan Perón. Paint treatment was provided by paints.

Acting Blocks
Built to match already exhisting acting blocks, out of 1/2" ply. Trim, letters, and numbers cut out of luan. Painted to match the set.

Planterboxes
Sides constructed out of 1x2 as Broadway flats and skinned in Luan, with Luan trim. The bottom is lauan on corner blocks, 4" from the top. Swivel casters were added after completion. Given a wood with grain treatment.

Laptops
Constructed out of 1/2" ply and hinged with piano hinges for functionality.
